The Fame Game
By Rodentia

Can you remember where you were when you first heard that Diana, Princess of Whales, lost her no claims whilst going for that Crash Junction 4x score multiplier?

Can you remember the time when the Berlin Wall was toppled by a cheating Counter-Strike playing nerd?

Can you remember what underpants you were wearing when JFK was blasted with a BFG?

Of course you can't! You were too busy playing bloody games weren't you! Open the curtains man! You might see a bit of the world!!

This month, we wanted you to play the fame game and, quite literally, ram your favourite pixellated chums into famous pictures from the entire history of the world ever. News images, well-known film posters, iconic album covers, renowned paintings...they had to be proper iconic ones mind. As per usual, fellow Rodents did not disappoint...

However, in true awards ceremony style, we'll announce the top nominees in reverse order starting with...

Previous 'Image of the Month' winner telboy was undoubtedly top of the photoshops both in terms of quantity and quality and it's this entry that almost took the crown for it's sheer simplicity...

But, and apologies for the well worn cliche, there can be only one and this month the unanimous winner (drum roll please) was pagettypol with this stunning, not to mention, poignant entry...

pagettypol

A gold paint sprayed cheap plastic statuette is winging it's way to him right now! A supreme selection this month we'll think you'll agree. It was difficult actually leaving anyone out but for those craving a bit of backstage action, the complete hall of fame can be viewed here.
